Description
Mixed media painting of a horse in the desert. The ref photo used was an Irish Draught horse being lunged and I gave it a more spanish horse look.
Done in the usual stuff, acrylic, WCP, CP, black drawing pen and maybe a small amount of graphite.
Around A3 size but longer. I completed this in summer 2005, about September time.

Love the dapples! Great contrast between the horse and the desert, yet the colors are still so soft. Very lovely.
