Desert Sentinel

Arabian horse in the desert scene. I photographed a bay Arab Stallion at a horse show and used him as the reference.

I painted this in December 2005 inbetween two other projects. I was awaiting ref photos for a commission so had time to fit a small piece in to add to my personal portfolio.

This is A4 in size and done in acrylic, wcp, cp and black drawing pen. I got it done fairly quick, within a couple of weeks but don't know how many hours it took.
